B-1 Authority and Governing Regulations

I. Purpose

The Board of Trustees at the University of Kentucky elected to perform the purchasing and capital construction contracting functions in accordance with KRS 164A.555 to KRS 164A.630. 

II. Responsibilities 

The responsibility for this election is vested with the Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees has delegated these responsibilities to the Executive Vice President for Finance and Administration, who has further delegated them to the Chief Procurement Officer.

III. Policy

In carrying out the provisions of KRS 164A.555 through KRS 164A 630, the Board of Trustees is bound by the following statutes:
